If you're under your car and see a little dribble of oil where the propeller shaft meets the rear axle and Haldex, odds are good that this seal has given up.
Additionally, on Haldex 2 & 3 cars like P2s and P1s, the propeller shaft has to be disconnected and the flange removed in order to replace either the Haldex pump or the filter, making it an ideal time to replace this seal while you're in there.
So if you're doing an AWD service or just notice a leak, this Genuine Volvo seal and flange nut will keep things dry for years to come.
