Product Information
Product Description
For owners of 1982-89 non-turbo 240 series Volvos with LH fuel injection. Here’s a chance to put an end to intermittent electrical problems with our watertight fuse holder system. With the Bosch® LH fuel injection system, current is supplied from the battery to an exposed blade style fuse. This addresses the problem. The fuse is located about a foot behind the battery on the driver’s side inner fender. Over time, corrosion of the fuse holder causes problems with the electrical system, including starting difficulties and intermittent stalling of the engine. Visual clues of corrosion in your 240 are discolored connections and a deformed or melted plastic fuse holder. Our waterproof replacement will put an end to this problem by concealing the fuse and terminals from water and corrosive gases. Also included are connectors and heat-shrink tubing to prevent the splice from corroding and a new 25-amp fuse. Don’t be fooled by similar looking systems. We tested several, and this is the only one we found to be water-tight.

A Core Charge is a refundable deposit added to the price of a product by a manufacturer as a bounty to encourage the return of rebuildable cores.
Cores must be complete (mostly assembled and not missing parts) to qualify for refund.
Cores must be complete returned in the manufacturer's box with part number markings to qualify for refund. Typically, the core is returned in the box that contained the replacement product.
Core return and any shipping associated with it is the customer's responsibility.
Available to Order means the item is readily available from one or more supplier warehouses and should be available to ship within a timely manner (unless otherwise noted on the product listing.)
Products from major brand names like Volvo Genuine, Bosch, Mahle, Aisin, etc. are almost always in stock in the manufacturer’s domestic warehouse. These suppliers have good fill rates, but even if they are out of stock, we may be able to source it from a variety of alternative source. We are at the most 10 days away from all those warehouses, usually much less. Does that mean we will always have your product available within that window? Honestly, no. There are many factors that can delay things by a few days but we’ll do everything we can to fulfill your order in a timely manner.
