Product Description
A new, Genuine Volvo direct injector, as used on the twin-charged (supercharged and turbocharged) 4-cylinder VEA engine. We strongly recommend replacing fuel injectors as a complete set, to ensure equal fuel flow between cylinders.
Additional Technical Information
Each fuel injector has a retaining spring clip, Volvo OE # 31321008, that is likely to be damaged during removal. Volvo recommends replacing them whenever injectors are removed; see Recommended Products below.
Potential Product Fitment Issues
Beginning in 2017, Volvo began some minor internal engine updates to the VEA 4-cylinder engine. Dubbed "VEP GEN2", these Gen2 engines use a different fuel injector than the earlier engines. If you have a 2017 or 2018, you must check your car's variant codes to determine which generation engine you have. Please contact IPD Customer Support or your local Volvo dealer with your VIN to find out.
Additionally, if you have a 2014 S60 T5, check your car to see if you have engine code B4204T9; despite being badged a T5, this injector fits this particular S60. If you're unsure which engine you have, check your engine's code and serial number sticker on the valve cover / PCV box under the engine cover.
