Once you hammer the drum off, this handy pliers multitasker from specialists Wilmar Performance Tool makes the job a little bit easier. The business end of the pliers are carefully curved to help with installation of the big brake shoe return springs, and the ends of the handles help with removing and installing the small horizontal anchor stud / anti-rattle springs.
No one wants to do drum brakes, but this tool will help cut down on the swearing a little.
