This 1/2 inch drive, 22mm 6-point socket by tool specialists Wilmar is designed to be gentle. It has a plastic insert and plastic outer sleeve, and the anodized finish is a good surface hardness match to our anodized drain plugs. Remember not to overtorque!
Additional Technical Information
P3 T6 models like the S60, V60, XC60, XC70, and S80 have the turbo's charge air pipe very close to the drain plug, making room for a standard socket very tight, much less for this longer non-marring socket. We recommend a six-point box end wrench or six point short socket for these cars.
