Product Description
Front- and all-wheel drive Volvos use a small spring-steel circlip on the left (US driver's side) axle to hold the inner end of the axle in the transmission. If you're replacing this axle, removing it can be a hassle because this clip is pretty strong!
These special axle popper forks by tool specialist CTA work great for popping these CV joints out of transmissions. They're thinner and wider than a standard suspension pickle fork, allowing you to put them in to position between the axle's CV joint cup and transmission and hit them with a hammer without worrying about the splined end of the axle. Includes one flat and one wedge fork.
