These models were originally equipped with TRW racks:
- 1999 S70 AWD with Chassis Number up to 572014
- 1998-1999 V70 AWD & XC with Chassis Number up to 549830
- 1993-1997 850
- Early production 1998 S70 with 7 digit Product ID
- Early production 1998 V70 with 7 digit Product ID
- 1998-2000 S70 FWD with 8 digit Product IDs ending in Steering Rack Code "4"
- 1998-2000 V70 FWD with 8 digit Product IDs ending inSteering Rack Code "4"
- 1998-2004 C70 with 8 digit Product IDs ending in Steering Rack Code "4"
If your car has an 8-digit Product ID, the Steering Rack Code is the last digit. Please check the tech tips below for more info about your Product ID plate and chassis number, or pull your inner tie rods and compare the inner threaded portion with the pictures below:
