Product Description
Your automatic transmission's torque converter acts as an extra gearset, adding in torque multiplication for extra grunt getting your car off the line. At cruising speeds, the two moving torque converter elements are locked together at 1:1 by a clutch between them, and this solenoid controls when that lockup happens. If you've got P0741-P0744 trouble codes and if your engine is dying when coming to a stop, this solenoid and fresh fluid is a good place to start.
