Product Description
Replacing the entire steering rack is the accepted typical repair but stretches the budget to the stops (pun intended). If you have the confidence, patience and skills required we can help you out with the pieces to rebuild it yourself. The rebuild kit itself is quite reasonably priced if you are hankering for the job. Volvo published the step by step instructions many years ago and the list is about 12 pages long.
Fair warning: NOT for your average saturday mechanic, but within the reach of a well equipped shade-tree. Instructions NOT included.
