Product Description
There are several of these blend door motors hiding in the dashboard of your Volvo. These actuate to open or close doors in the climate control system. These control the flow of the direction of the air (ie- the foot vents) as well as opening and closing doors to the AC evaporator and heater core.
When these fail you'll often get the climate control unit blink 2 LED's at you on the bottom right of the unit signifying there is a code stored in the module as well as some odd behavior from the heat and AC delivery. Most commonly we see one of the vents blow the temperature you select and then the other one blows cold always no matter where you set the temperature to. Additionally we've seen recirc function fail, and certain vents just not have air flow through them.
