In 1999 Volvo made the move to direct fire, coil on plug ignition systems. This means no more distributor, cap, rotor or spark plug wires. While it may seem mysterious at first glance, it's really rather simple. In this video Ken unveils the inner workings of this coil-on-plug (C.O.P.) system and goes over the fundementals of diagnosis and replacement of ignition coils.
