These replicas of the factory Volvo Pegasus wheels are available in various sizes in a an offset appropriate for FWD & AWD models. This means direct fit, bolt on wheels for your Volvo!
The ipd machined face Pegasus goes through the same manufacturing process with an additional step compared to the Hyper Silver finish. After the wheels have been completely painted, the wheels are put into a CNC machine where a synthetic diamond machine bit passes over the face of the wheel exposing the natural alloy color. The synthetic diamond bit gives the face of the wheel a near polished aluminum finish. After the wheel has been machined it is finalized with a clearcoat paint. We used a darker “gunmetal/anthracite” color as a background for the machined face wheels adding more contrast between the spoke and the bore of the wheel.
These wheels will work with your standard lug studs and come with new ipd style center caps.
The lug bolt holes in these wheels are little smaller diameter than stock Volvo wheels so some locking lug bolts may not fit these wheels.
Though the ipd replica wheels are very similar to the OEM Pegasus wheels, these are NOT an exact match to the factory OEM Volvo wheels. They differ in the font of the “R” logo, color, and spoke profile.
All IPD Pegasus replica wheels require hubcentric rings which are included.
Potential Product Fitment Issues
17” Pegasus in 38mm offset will not clear the IPD/Porsche big brake kit on 850, S70, V70 & C70 models. Due to the offset already being 38mm offset, adding a 5mm spacer will position the wheel outside of the fender well a bit far becoming a 33mm offset. Even though a 5mm spacer clears the caliper, we don’t recommend this option.
Direct fit over 2004-2007 S60R & V70R models with big brakes - no spacers required.
Volvo P1 chassis S40, V50 C70 & C30 models require a lug nut update when running our Pegasus replica wheels. See recommomended products tab for compatible Gorilla brand lug nuts.
The Volvo OEM style lug nuts used with Volvo OEM alloy wheels on these models (pictured at right) are NOT recommended for use with IPD Pegasus replica wheels.
