This specialized tock ring socket is designed to remove the left and right fuel pump retaining nuts on all P2 models.
Over time, the retaining nut can be stuck pretty tight. When this happens it can be tough, if not impossible to remove the plastic retaining nuts and they are easily broken when improper tools are used.
This tool also gives easy access to the XC90’s left tank unit retaining nut without removing the large frame under the seat bottom saving about an hour versus using the taller factory Volvo tool.
Aftermarket parts are a reasonably priced and good alternative to OE products. We often supply aftermarket products in place of OE parts that are no longer available as well.
Some items will be better than stock or considered an upgrade from the OE design in the aftermarket brand.
Other items will work as a less expensive alternative to stock.
