Product Description
Here is a handy way to keep the crankshaft pulley from turning when you are removing it to change the timing belt and/or the crankshaft seal on your B230 Engine.
An absolute must on Volvos with automatic transmissions or when you don't have air tools. The hole in the handle fits over the tensioner stud for a secure hold. Withstands the torque specs specified by Volvo for the crank bolt.
WARNING: DO NOT START THE ENGINE WITH THIS TOOL IN PLACE.

Potential Product Fitment Issues
Be aware:
This tool is designed to fit the holes in the factory installed crank pulley. These pulleys are a high failure item in the lifespan of the vehicle. Due to the high failure rate of these pulleys many have been replaced with aftermarket supplies over the years. (The factory version is no longer available) The holes in the newer pulleys, including the ones we sell, have become smaller over the years as the molds have worn from usage. It is common for the teeth of the tool to not fit as well in newer pulleys.
