One of the more common inquiries we get about brake pads on Volvos is, "How do I get rid of the dust?" While you'll never eliminate brake dust completely, Akebono EURO ceramic pads offer a great solution to the excessive dusting of Volvo OEM brake pads.
With many pads, moving to a denser material like ceramic can be prone to brake squeal, poor cold pad performance and other trade offs. We've installed Akebono EURO pad sets on several Volvos and have been more than pleased with the results. Good cold performance, great resistance to brake fade and best of all -- almost no brake dust on the wheels!
Akebono EURO Ultra-Premium brake pads provide excellent vehicle control and response performance. Akebono uses advanced ceramic brake pad technology allows their “EURO” pad line to provide excellent stopping power and virtually eliminating brake dust.

Cores must be complete returned in the manufacturer's box with part number markings to qualify for refund. Typically, the core is returned in the box that contained the replacement product.
Core return and any shipping associated with it is the customer's responsibility.

Products from major brand names like Volvo Genuine, Bosch, Mahle, Aisin, etc. are almost always in stock in the manufacturer’s domestic warehouse. These suppliers have good fill rates, but even if they are out of stock, we may be able to source it from a variety of alternative source. We are at the most 10 days away from all those warehouses, usually much less. Does that mean we will always have your product available within that window? Honestly, no. There are many factors that can delay things by a few days but we’ll do everything we can to fulfill your order in a timely manner.
