Product Description
Red Line 5W30:
Replacement for original factory oils in passenger cars. Thicker film at operating temperature than a petro-based 10W-40. Best choice for extreme cold weather.
Reduces turbo lag and provides more power and economy while providing thicker films at operating temperature than a petroleum 10W-40. Best all-round, all-weather synthetic oil for stock or slightly modified engines .
Started in 1979, Red Line Synthetic Oil Corporation has grown to manufacture over 80 quality products, including motor oils, gear oils, assembly lubes, fuel additives, and WaterWetter cooling additive for the automotive, motorcycle, marine, and industrial markets. Based in California, the company earned a reputation with racers and enthusiasts alike for creating products that perform and protect better than any on the market, regardless of price.
Developing and marketing among the most sophisticated lubricants in the world, Red Line’s products are designed to literally outperform for the task at hand. In 1986, the addition of Cornell-degreed Roy Howell as chief chemist brought Red Line Synthetic Oil Corporation into a league of its own, with a knowledge of available technologies, an ability to respond to technical challenges, and the ability to satisfy the needs of the performance industry.
Red Line Oil’s team of chemists and blenders formulate fully-synthetic oils and chemically-advanced additives using only the world’s finest base stocks. This makes Red Line Oil the premium product on the shelf. It’s not designed to be the cheapest—it’s built to be the best. Rather than cutting costs by blending into polyalphaolefin base stock for its motor oil, Red Line Oil only uses superior poly ester-based products—resulting in lubricants that are extremely stable at high temperatures while providing superior film strength at lower viscosities where more power can be produced.
The world’s top racing teams and most discriminating enthusiasts use Red Line Oil products exclusively. There may be a different sponsor on the outside, but chances are its Red Line Oil on the inside.

A Core Charge is a refundable deposit added to the price of a product by a manufacturer as a bounty to encourage the return of rebuildable cores.
Cores must be complete (mostly assembled and not missing parts) to qualify for refund.
Cores must be complete returned in the manufacturer's box with part number markings to qualify for refund. Typically, the core is returned in the box that contained the replacement product.
Core return and any shipping associated with it is the customer's responsibility.
Available to Order means the item is readily available from one or more supplier warehouses and should be available to ship within a timely manner (unless otherwise noted on the product listing.)
Products from major brand names like Volvo Genuine, Bosch, Mahle, Aisin, etc. are almost always in stock in the manufacturer’s domestic warehouse. These suppliers have good fill rates, but even if they are out of stock, we may be able to source it from a variety of alternative source. We are at the most 10 days away from all those warehouses, usually much less. Does that mean we will always have your product available within that window? Honestly, no. There are many factors that can delay things by a few days but we’ll do everything we can to fulfill your order in a timely manner.
