These models utilize studs and nuts to connect the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head. It is common for these to suffer from corrosion over time and can break during disassembly. These are the correct, Volvo OEM part to properly replace these studs if needed.
- S40 & V40 2000-2004 use 8 studs
- P80 & P2 5 cylinder turbo 850, S70, V70, C70, S60, S80, XC90, XC70 use 10 studs
- P2 6 cylinder turbo XC90 and S80 use 12 studs
- P1 5 cylinder S40, V50, C30, C70 use 12 studs
