Product Information
Product Description
The European ceramic style fuses used in all Volvos 1962 to 1993 (except the 700 & 900 series) are getting very difficult to find. We are currently supplying Thermal Plastic fuses in their place.
The fuse panels in these models are known for corrosion problems, which can lead to intermittent electrical failure. A good solution is to clean all the fuse holders with a wire brush & replace all the old fuses with new fuses that have had the contact points coated with dielectric grease. This should provide years of trouble-free service.
For reference, most 1981 and newer models have eleven eight-amp (white), five 16-amp (red) and one 25-amp (blue) fuse. Most 240s from 1975-1980 have seven eight-amp and five 16-amp fuses.
30-Piece Fuse Kit Contains: (15) 8-amp fuses, (10) 16-amp fuses, (5) 25-amp fuses
Potential Product Fitment Issues
We have been unable to source the original ceramic copper style fuses for this application for some time now.
These are hard thermal plastic fuses with aluminum elements.

A Core Charge is a refundable deposit added to the price of a product by a manufacturer as a bounty to encourage the return of rebuildable cores.
Cores must be complete (mostly assembled and not missing parts) to qualify for refund.
Cores must be complete returned in the manufacturer's box with part number markings to qualify for refund. Typically, the core is returned in the box that contained the replacement product.
Core return and any shipping associated with it is the customer's responsibility.
Available to Order means the item is readily available from one or more supplier warehouses and should be available to ship within a timely manner (unless otherwise noted on the product listing.)
Products from major brand names like Volvo Genuine, Bosch, Mahle, Aisin, etc. are almost always in stock in the manufacturer’s domestic warehouse. These suppliers have good fill rates, but even if they are out of stock, we may be able to source it from a variety of alternative source. We are at the most 10 days away from all those warehouses, usually much less. Does that mean we will always have your product available within that window? Honestly, no. There are many factors that can delay things by a few days but we’ll do everything we can to fulfill your order in a timely manner.
