If your car has HIDs, the level sensor in the front bolts to the right (US passenger) control arm. Make sure to buy a new threaded insert for the level sensor arm, and press it in to the new control arm before installation.
Potential Product Fitment Issues
Early P1 models (S40, V50 &C70) had smaller ball joints than later models. The production change occured in the middle of the 2006 model year. The control arms are not interchangeable.
If you have a 2006 S40, V50 or C70, you will need to buy this part based on your chassis number.
This early style control arm fits:
- 2004.5-2006 S40 up to and including chassis number 209290
- 2005-2006 V50 up to and including chassis number 214682
- 2006 C70 up to and including chassis number 2026
