Upgrade the intercooler piping system in your Volvo with this top notch kit from Do88!

This intake system reverses the flow from the intercooler and pulls cold air from the bottom of the intercooler rather than the top as is with the stock intercooler piping setup. As we all know; hot air rises, so pulling from the bottom of the intercooler reduces intake temperatures greatly! Additionally this kit shortens the entire intercooler piping by about 600mm which reduces turbo lag and increases throttle response. This kit also includes reinforced silicone couplers which are a great upgrade for anybody looking to increase the boost pressure on one of these models! 

Significant advantages with do88 pressure pipes versus OEM pipes:
- Air flow at 0,15bar/2,18psi pressure drop: 414CFM (342CFM), do88 21% higher! 
- The total length of the do88 pipes are 600mm shorter than the OEM pipes which increases throttle response
- Designed to handle high pressures and temperatures

These pressure pipes are manufactured in 2.5” mandrel bent stainless steel pipes. The Do88 lower intercooler pipe also has a very secure attachment of the pressure and temperature sensors in a custom cast / machined flange. The original attachment of these sensors can often cause problems with leakage at higher boost pressure than the original. The kit comes with custom made high quality silicone hoses with 4 layers of polyester/aramid reinforcement to handle high temperatures and pressure.
do88 pressure pipes come with all hardware necessary for installation.

This RIPKIT has 2.5” piping which is larger than original equipment. The hose that connects to the intercooler is the correct size for the original equipment intercooler. If you are also running the DO88 aluminum intercooler with the larger 2.5” outlet you will also need to order hose number 140711 to have the correct size connection to the DO88 intercooler.
