Lets face it. Felt seals provide a mediocre seal at best. They generally will weep even with a new seal and are a constant annoyance.
In the past we used to offer an exhange service to machine out old felt seal housings to accomodate an upgraded silicone seal, but as years went on cores became hard to source and thus the part was discontinued.
We are now able to source this upgraded housing which is actually cast to the correct machined out size and utilizes a front crank seal from a later B21/B23/B230 engine to provide a tight, leak free seal.

Aftermarket parts are a reasonably priced and good alternative to OE products. We often supply aftermarket products in place of OE parts that are no longer available as well.
