Product Description
Most gasket failures are simply due to old age. The material becomes hard and brittle over time and loses the ability to seal or may crack from being handled during normal maintenance procedures. If you are unsure of how old the gaskets are on your engine, be sure to have replacements on hand before you tear into that next project.
Initially these gaskets may seem too wide but bend over the hump on the cylinder head and conform to the shape of the valve cover as they are tightened down.
