Description
From 2008 and up, cars in the US were required to carry Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems, or TPMS.
Safety-minded Volvo offered TPMS as an option well before 2008, so if you suddenly have this light on your dash and your tire pressures are OK, your car has TPMS (yay!) but your TPMS sensors are bad and need to be replaced (boo!).
Additional Keywords: 315 MHZ
Additional Technical Information
These sensors are for North America (USA and Canada) spec cars, using the 315mHz radio frequency.
To pair these sensors with your car, use a TPMS scanner that can read 315mHz sensors, note the sensor IDs, and use VIDA and a DICE tool to go to your car's UEM and activate the new sensors there.
