Description

Volvo has certainly become famous (or infamous) for the refined and civil presentation of their vehicles on the road. No one has ever accused Volvo of being overly brash in traffic. This is all well and good for the family soccer team or grocery hauler but some drivers want to put a little more bark in their bite. A little growl in your exhaust to replace the familiar Volvo “whisper whoosh”, or maybe just a little “road music” for that inner gear-head.

This 304 stainless downpipe is mandrel bent and hand welded for an impeccable bolt-in fit. It is 3.5” diameter at the turbocharger, reduces to 3” at the flex joint and ends with dual 2.5” pipes at the twin flange. The downpipe mounts in the stock locations and, using a 150 cell metal catalyst, will cause no errors or malfunctions to seamlessly preserve your civil drive.The marked improvement in throttle response from the decrease in back pressure and faster spool time won’t hurt your feelings either.

Installation can take several hours and is recommended for the more advanced DIY'er (a lift is recommended). Includes exhaust gaskets and hardware.
