Volvo recommends intalling new bolts when replacing control arms on these models.
Kit includes:
- Pair of Meyle HD front control arms
- Set of Genuine Volvo control arm bolts (4 vertical, 2 horizontal)
Additional Technical Information
If your car has HIDs, the level sensor in the front bolts to the right (US passenger) control arm. Make sure to buy a new threaded insert for the level sensor arm, and press it in to the new control arm before installation.
Potential Product Fitment Issues
Early P1 models (S40, V50 & C70) had smaller ball joints than later models. The production change occured in the middle of the 2006 model year. The control arms are not interchangeable.
If you have a 2006 S40, V50 or C70, you will need to buy this part based on your chassis number.
The later style control arms included in this kit fit:
- 2006 and later S40 chassis number 209291 and higher
- 2006 and later V50 chassis number 214683 and higher
- 2006 and later C70 chassis number 2027 and higher
- C30 all
