Product Description
The thermostat housing used on these models has a platic elbow fitting for the overflow. Over time and heat cycles it can crack and fail. Volvo does not sell the elbow separate so the only option previously was a full thermostat housing replacement to the tune of over a hundred bucks.
This aluminum replacement elbow is a direct replacement for the weak factory plastic one. A good, economical solution.
