Product Description
Front control arms are one of the most problem prone pieces on these models. Our IPD HD control arms have proved to be a great and durable replacement for the weak factory arms. We've combined these updated control arms with many other common replacements/upgrades in this front kit.
Kit includes:
- Pair of IPD HD front control arms
- Pair of IPD HD ball joints
- Pair of Meyle tie rod ends
- Pair of Meyle inner tie rods
- Pair of Lemförder upper strut mounts
- Pair of IPD HD upper spring seats
Potential Product Fitment Issues
If you have a 2007 model year V70 or S60 you will need to visually inspect your car to determine which style control arm you Volvo is equipped with to ensure you order the correct parts.
Two different style control arms and ball joints were used on 2007 model S60 and V70 models. The obvious difference between the two designs in that the earlier control arms are aluminum and the later design are steel. They are not interchangeable.
The aluminum control arms included in this kit fit these models:
- 2001-2006 S60 & S60R
- 2001-2006 V70 & V70R
- 2007 S60 and S60R w/ aluminum control arms (up to and including chassis number 626501)
- 2007 V70 and V70R w/ aluminum control arms
(Factory Code 1 up to and including chassis number 647148, FC 2 up to and including chassis number 645617)
