Frustratingly, Volvo serpentine belt tensioners have changed and superseded depending on manufacturer. Originally most models used a tensioner that had a 14mm hex head protruding from the pulley used to de-tension the belt for removal and replacement. Later, most manfacturers switched to an inset torx hole to de-tension.
This updated serpentine belt tool is multi-faceted and will now accomodate all styles. Included on either end of this version of the tool are both commonly used torx sizes (T50 & T60) and also the earlier hex head style (14MM). A great addition to your toolbox!
