Product Description
Swapping out the factory head unit on these models for an aftermarket one can be somewhat tricky. With the right pieces though, it's pretty straight forward.
Volvo 850, S70 V70 and C70 models already have a double DIN sized opening in the center console. This means physically fitting an aftermarket single DIN stereo only requires removal of the factory head unit and replacing it with the new head unit and filling the extra DIN slot. This pocket is a perfect solution to fit the extra slot for a clean, OEM Volvo appearance.
2001-2004 S60, V70 and XC70 models have a specifically molded stereo head unit. Replacing this head unit requires a new panel (see recommended products tab on this page). With the replacement panel you're left with a double DIN opening. Then, same as above you can now fit your aftermarket head unit and fill the extra slot with this OEM pocket for a clean appearance.
*Please note we do not include any wiring or supporting materials for installing the head unit. Professional installation is recommended.
