Product Description
Volvo 240 and 260 models utilize a washer plate to locate and attach the bottom of the rear spring to the trailing arm. The factory configuration uses a stud pressed into this plate with a nut to attach it. It's not uncommon for these studs to become rusted and corroded beyond repair or simply stripped out on removal or install. When this happens a replacement is needed.
These replacement retaining plates do not have the pressed in stud so you'll need to use a bolt and nut.
