The plastic fuel door hinge and spring assembly has proven to be a common failure item on these models. We've had a number of them fail on our own cars and seen countless failures on customer cars. Sometimes they simply fall off due to age and exposure, and sometimes gas station attendents break them off. Whatever the reason for the failure, we have the solution.
Our fuel door repair kit includes a new fuel door (commonly damaged when the old hinge assembly breaks), new spring and new hinge. All pieces are OEM Volvo to return your fuel door to full working order just like it came out of the factory.
