Product Description
The factory integral CBV has a demonstrated history of poor flow and seal resulting in boost instability, particularly at shift points. The ability to move to an efficient and functional external CBV is critical to getting the most performance from the factory turbocharger. Due to the poor CBV design, boost bleeds past the integral CBV needlessly stressing the turbo when trying to hit target boost levels requested by the ECU .
Our compressor bypass block off plate replaces the factory compressor bypass valve completely forming a tight, leak free seal. Doing this allows you to convert to a more efficient external diverter valve style setup.
