The XC70 was not fortunate enough to get the V8 drivetrain that was offered in the XC90 and S80 models. IPD created the ultimate combination bringing this vehicle together with this engine and drivetrain package. The past few IPD Project cars have been geared more toward the overland sector. We have done our best to create a vehicle that can explore unpaved roads and rough terrain while still maintaining the ability to get you to and from work as a daily driver!  This is by far the best P3 XC70 anywhere!

IPD originally found a bone stock XC70 that was worthy of receiving a brand-new V8 engine and transmission. Our XC70 was purchased from the original owner located right here in the Pacific Northwest. The XC70 was exactly what we were looking for. The XC70 was a well-maintained vehicle with high miles. The miles didn’t matter to us, it was soon getting a whole new drivetrain. The black leather interior is in near perfect condition with no scratches, rips or tears. The body had no dents or been in any accidents. Ultimately, we found the perfect candidate to begin our V8 swap.  Once the car was in our stables here at IPD, we went a little crazy replacing faded plastic bits around the exterior and inside the engine compartment.  We knew this car would be attending many shows. We wanted to make sure all the pieces looked like a brand-new factory car.

Everything has been customized from the ground up.
