Bushing Kits Front

1995 VOLVO 940 WAGON NON-TURBO

after replacing front end rotors, calipers / brakes and adding a set of KYB struts my car still didnt have the front end control I was looking for. I continued to get a bit of play in the horizontal plane that was accompanied by a metal on metal clank with hard breaking. after doing a bit of research I found out that the bushings on the 940's are well known to fail and cause lose of control in the horizontal plane when braking. after consulting with my Volvo tech, I decided to go with the this kit, and threw in a set of univeral links that sit on the control arm. the result was more than i expected. not only does my brick handle with greater responsiveness, the sure feel of front end feels as though new! I am amazed at how well this kit enhances the overall front end performance. gone are metal on metal sounds as well as horizontal plane sway. I would recommend you become familiar with insertion points of individual pieces as a lift and machine press for the bushings are a necessity (dont try this in yr drive way without these!) and your local mechanic may need some coaching on placement. if your Volvo is over 100k, dont even think about not doing this service. Volvo should list this as a highly recommended maintenance service at 100k for all 940's! once again IPD's component pieces are exceptional performers !

I got this kit and knew that i would most likely have to get the other bushings pressed out but i installed the poly control arm bushings and it made a huge difference on the tightness of the suspension. I felt that the other bushings were okay for now but i cant even imagine what it will drive like with the others installed. Thanks ipd once again for the excellent products.

1990 Volvo 740 GL with 205,000 miles:
I just had this kit installed and what a difference it made! The car is much tighter and handles like a dream. The guys at iPd are awesome! I will tell every Volvo owner I talk to about how awesome this outfit is!

I finally put these on my 740 with 190,000+ miles, and could not believe how much tighter the front end felt, can't wait to get the rear bushings on.
