112409 - Bilstein Touring Class Front Right Strut - 1999-2000 S40 V40

Product Description

Bilstein Touring Class shocks and struts feature the same German engineering and quality as the world famous Bilstein monotube gas pressure shock - but in a competitively priced twin-tube design.

Bilstein econoTC shocks and struts feature genuine Bilstein technology and quality, twin tube gas pressure design, and meet or exceed original equipment specifications. They offer premium ride comfort and control characteristics.

On the first generation S40 & V40 models, the applications are a little complicated and are based on the manufacture date of the vehicle. You will need to verify what the month/year break is to get the correct struts and shocks. There is a chassis plate in the engine compartment located at the top of the strut housing "silver" that will have the manufacture date.

Some very early model S40 & V40 models may have had the suspension replaced with later style parts at a dealership during the original warranty period. There is no easy way to tell if this is the case.
