112582 - MAF Mass Air Flow Sensor LH 2.0 (1982 240 B21F)

Product Description

This MAF is for vary rare 1982 240 models with LH-Jetronic 2.0 fuel injection.  There were very few of these produced with LH, most had K-Jetronic mechanical injection.

Some people don't even believe there was a 1982 B21F with LH.  We've seen them.  These are very odd vehicles that are easily identified by looking at the injector rail.  If you seen rubber hoses between the injectors and the rail, then it's this early LH.  1983 and newer have the fuel rail attached directly to the top of the injectors without rubber hoses.

These models also had a big brass flame trap in the MAF to protect the hot wire from engine back-fires.  Rebuilt MAFs generally had a screen instead.

We ran out of sources for this MAF in 2010 but we are leaving it displayed on our website for identification purposes.
