The cabin filter helps to protect you and your passengers from pollen and pollutants entering your climate controlled environment. A plugged filter will reduce the comfort level and protection to you and your passengers against airborne contaminants. The filter should be replaced about every 20,000 miles for best comfort, however, it depends on conditions in your area.

Some 850 models were not factory equipped with a cabin filter but can have one installed with an addition adapter (see recommended products.)
