Product Description
If your brake pedal travels slowly to the floor but you can't find any leaks at the calipers, it might be time for a new master cylinder. Volvo is renowned for their safety, and the master cylinder is the key component of their triangular (3 wheels on each circuit) brake system.
Remember flushing your brake system fluid every other year will go a long way to preventing corrosion of expensive brake system components.
Potential Product Fitment Issues
Fits cars WITHOUT ABS (anti-lock brakes). If your car is equipped with ABS this master cylinder will not work.
For very early models (75-78): These models have one brake circuit line at the tip of the master cylinder and the second on the side. This master has the second circuit on the right (USA passenger) side. if you need the left (USA driver) side see IPD 101607.
