Boost Pressure Sensor (BPS) Weld On Bung

Description

IPD's weld on BPS bung is a perfect solution for those wishing to fabricate their own induction and intercooler systems. Different year model Volvos locate the factory Boost Pressure Sensor in different locations on the intake piping. Some have it directly on the intercooler and some have it on the intercooler tubing. This becomes tricky when upgrading intercoolers or changing intake piping for performance applications. Our weld on bung is the solution.

CNC machined from billet aluminum, our weld on bung is designed to be welded onto any aluminum piping and perfectly fits and locates the factory sensor. The threaded stand-off is the same size and thread pitch as factory so installing your BPS with our bung is the exact same procedure as installing it in the factory configuration. Nominal pipe o.d. is 2.25".
