Promotion effective from August 14, 2009 through October 2, 2009 PBR® Deluxe Organic Brake Pads If you have primarily used Volvo factory brake pads on your Volvos, then you will really appreciate the PBR Deluxe brake pads. They are formulated from the latest organic, asbestos-free materials and provide significantly reduced dusting on the wheels and very little, if any, squealing compared to the factory pads. They provide measurably longer life — up to 2-3 times longer than conventional pads —and extreme resistance to heat, which translates into much less brake fading and squealing. PBR Deluxe pads deliver consistently smooth braking performance and are considered a great upgrade to any Volvo. Zimmerman Cross Drilled Rotors Zimmerman cross-drilled rotors do a better job of dissipating heat and gasses from your brakes than standard rotors under extreme braking. They have carefully machined holes strategically placed across their surface that allow air to flow through the actual surface of the brake disc, resulting in improvements in cooling and a resulting reduction in brake fade. Cross drilled rotors also allow dust and gasses that build up on the rotor surface to escape into the atmosphere rather than affect brake operation. The cumulative result is rotors that run cooler, stop better, reduce fade, and dissipate dust more effectively. They also look great under alloy wheels! Please note: these rotors are a performance part and are intended for hard driving. Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines Now you can experience the same rock-solid brake pedal feel that professional racers rely on. Standard brake hoses will experience some swelling under pressure, which results in a soft or spongy feeling in the brake pedal that increases as the car ages. Teflon/Kevlar stainless-steel braided lines are comparable to those used on motorsports applications. Lines and fittings are engineered for precise fit.
