Installed along with some Bilstein HD Struts (on front). The change was, in a word, remarkable. Ride stiffened remarkably, and a full inch lower in the front. Corners can now be taken with confidence. |
Eibach Springs
After initial testing on applications our main spring supplier (TME) didn't cover, we have been pleased with the performance of the Eibach springs and now stock all of their Volvo applications. The main difference between TME springs and our Eibach applications is that the Eibachs are progressive. Eibach Pro-Kit springs utilize a dual rate progressive design to be as soft as possible while still being as firm as possible. The smooth, softer initial characteristic improves traction and provides comfortable cruising while the sportier and firmer final rate reduces body roll and is more responsive under cornering, braking and accelerating. Eibach springs provide exceptional handling and precise vehicle responsiveness and stability with minimal effect to the ride quality.

Front Camber Adjustment Kit
Whenever you lower a vehicle’s ride height, negative camber is increased –– how much depends on the vehicle and the reduction in ride height. H&R ‘Triple C’ Camber Adjustment Bolts are a simple, yet very effective means of removing excessive camber, adjusting your vehicle’s camber settings, or even correcting small side-to-side camber variations for precise alignment.
Consisting of a pair of specially-designed bolts, H&R patented ‘Triple C’ Camber Adjustment Bolts replace the original upper fastening bolts on McPherson strut applications. As the bolt is turned, a small cam eccentric alters the vehicle’s camber, allowing adjustments from 0-3 degrees, positive or negative.
Installation takes only minutes with readily available hand tools, and benefits include increased tire life, improved tracking and the ability to dial in more camber for weekend track events.

Rear Camber Kit for S60R & V70R 2004-2007
(also fits AWD S60, V70 and XC90)
 
Correct negative camber issues for proper handling and improved tire life with a set of ipd adjustable camber bushings. ipd’s new rear camber bushing allows you to adjust for excessive rear camber that can cause premature tire wear and poor braking performance. Typically excessive negative rear camber occurs when lowering a vehicle via sport springs although, some stock vehicles can also require adjustment. Since there is no factory provision for rear camber adjustment ipd has developed an eccentric offset bushing that provides up to 1 degree of camber adjustment (negative or positive) to help correct your alignment problems. Not only will this alleviate poor tire wear it can also restore lost braking performance by increasing the contact surface of the tire to the road. Be sure to have your vehicle aligned before installing these bushings so that you can have a baseline to adjust from. If it’s been more than 6 months since your alignment angles were checked, consider having them re-aligned. ipd strongly recommends professional installation to ensure the proper amount of adjustment is obtained. 8K0154 Reviewed by Philip C
I just got the rear camber bushings installed in my 2004 S60R today and now my alignment numbers are solidly within spec! Plus, I had the old style bushings so these new stiffer bushings have also reduced side hop and the whole car feels more stable over bumps. Thanks again for coming out with these.
