We’ll do some research on what is causing the part to fail and see if we can improve the materials or design. We make some prototypes, test them and then adjust as necessary to get the performance and longevity we want. We then get quotes on having the parts manufactured to our specs. Sometimes the numbers don’t work out as the Volvo market is pretty small, but sometimes they do work out and the ipd HD part becomes a reality!

This is by far the best, easiest, most bang-for-your-buck mod you can do to your car! Handling improvement is immediately noticeable! Instructions are very clear, I did the rear myself (easy) and had a shop do the front (requires full suspension drop). I recommend doing the endlinks too, because the old ones will be rusted and will bend/break and cause more damage if you leave them in.

The blue finish is great, urethane bushings awesome. Everybody that sees the little blue paint from the back loves it, and friends with S60s love the handling of mine - less of that SUV-feeling body roll!

This is the best upgrade to improve handling of the car without creating excess cabin noise, crashing through bumps or comfort. Highly recommended! (btw I've had it on for 8 months and still love it)

These HD end links noticeably increased steering response in corners and quick lane changes; in conjunction with the IPD strut brace that I installed last year my 850 now has a cost effective handling package for a relatively low dollar investment. Go for it!
