Much of ipd’s pricing is now based on a cost plus basis. We are continually examining our competitor’s websites and comparing where we are in the market. This means our prices can fluctuate with the market, but will ensure that you always gets the best price we can
offer. Unfortunately, this also means that prices printed in our catalogs and other literature may not always be as current as our website.

We continually strive to provide outstanding customer service to each and every customer, whether you come to us via the internet, phone, fax, or our front counter. This means employing and training people. We can’t provide this level of customer service without higher operating costs than our competitors. We may not always be the lowest priced supplier out there, but we will provide quality products and our trademark service at a very competitive price.

The 35+ year old generator fitted to your 1962 to 1966 B18 powered Volvo just barely keeps your battery charged under normal conditions. Once you add halogens, fog lights or a booming stereo (or just want to use the heater while the lights are on), it’s only a matter of time before your Swede leaves you stranded.

We’ve got the fix! Our new alternator conversion bracket allows you to easily convert your Volvo from the tired old generator to the Bosch or Marchal alternators used on the later 140 and 1800 series. There’s no substitute for quality.

If you can remove and replace your generator and know how to use wire crimpers, you can install this kit in a couple easy hours.

Adding an alternator increases available amperage and reliability - you’ll be able to use the headlights, booming stereo, wipers and heater all at the same time without that annoying red glow from the Amp light.
