Pollen Filters
Most 70 series cars have a pollen filter which protects you and your passengers from pollutants and pollen entering your climate controlled environment. A plugged filter will reduce the comfort level and protection to you and your passengers against airborne contaminants. The filter should be replaced about every 20,000 miles for best comfort, however, it depends on conditions in your area.
If you’re looking to replace your pollen filter, why not upgrade to the thicker charcoal activated filter for cars with the premium interior air quality system (IAQS)? Your vehicle may not have come factory with the IAQS but you can still use the higher quality filter. To see if your vehicle has IAQS note the picture above right. For those vehicles with IAQS, this is the factory replacement filter.
Charcoal filter comes with upgrade instructions. Time to install: 25 minutes.

Stock Replacement Air Filters
Easy to install and maintain. just discard and replace with a new one when needed. Check air filter every 10,000 miles. Replace it every 30,000 miles or more often in dirty or dusty conditions.
