Included with these new blades is a special windshield treatment. First clean your windshield, then apply PIAA’s windshield prep. After installing the blades, turn on your wipers for 5 minutes, allowing them to form a water-repellent film over the glass. We have thoroughly tested these blades and they truly work great in our rainy Portland weather.

We’re so glad we found these. The OE Bosch blades are over $35 for a pair. These are much more affordable and will replace the originals perfectly. (If you don’t have the original arms on your car, these probably won’t work.)

Note: Will not fit 1800 models.

Beginning in 2005, selected Volvo models have been equipped with a new style windshield wiper blade. These wipers apply even pressure across the entire blade length which provides superior clearing of rain water and frost. They are designed to create consistent pressure even at freeway speeds due to an integrated spoiler and as a side effect wind noise from the blade is also reduced up to 4db.

(1) Use 274432 for all 1993 850 models and 1994 850 models w/o sunroof, ie. models with 6 inches tall headlamps, this blade is 7.5 inches long and the attachment is offset at 3.75 inches. 

(2) For 1994 850 with sunroof and ALL 1995 TO 1997 850 models use 274435. This blade is 9 inches long and the attachment point is at 4 inches.
