Tailgate Hinges and Wiring Harnesses for 200 Series Wagons
*For If you have a 1984 or 1985 model, you’ll need to check the wiring harness under the headliner to be sure you order the correct part. If they look like the ones shown above, use 1985-93 parts. If they are black square/rectangular connectors, use the parts for 1975-84. |
Having electrical problems with tailgate accessories? Maybe your hinges have become worn, severing wires. Even if the hinges look okay, normal use can cause the wires that run through the tailgate hinges to break and fail. If the rear wiper, defrost, power lock or license plate light have stopped working on your wagon, a new replacement harness could be the answer. Rubber gaskets not included.

Tailgate and Trunk Supports

Stop using the stick! Replace your trunk shocks and fix the problem for good! Tailgate and trunk supports don’t last forever. They can age slowly or fail suddenly with sudden temperature changes. You’ll realize the failure immediately when the lid suddenly contacts you — usually in the head. Then you’ll get your next shock. The cost for a pair of original equipment gas springs can run as high as $150. Our suggestion? Buy our reasonably priced replacements and save!
