Engine Oil Seals

Keep the oil inside the engine where it belongs. A leak not quickly repaired can lead to fire hazards when it contacts hot exhaust parts. Oil will also shorten the life of electrical wiring and any rubber parts.

Manifold Studs and Nuts

It’s never a good time to break a manifold stud -- so we use these on all our B18 and B20 engines - so far, we haven’t broken one. High strength studs with locknuts that won’t vibrate loose; available in 1-3/4” or 2” lengths as used by Volvo.NOTE: You’ll need nine studs per engine.

Aluminum Alloy Valve Covers

A beautiful alloy valve cover that not only enhances the appearance of your car’s engine, but reduces tappet noise and dissipates heat faster.Made of cast aluminum, this cover is finished in a tough, textured black powder coat with machine surfaced ribs. Fits all B18 and B20 engines. The cover is designed to use the original Volvo filler cap and gasket.

Stop Oil Leaks

For years, ipd has been machining used crankshaft housings to accept a more modern and leak resistant silicone seal. In the beginning, used housings seemed to grow on trees. Times have changed since then and now scarcity seems to best describe our current supply of used housings. While aftermarket housings are currently available elsewhere, ipd has found the more modern castings to be of poor quality with threads that can be easily stripped. ipd only offers OE Volvo housings, precision machined to exacting tolerances for years of reliable leak protection. Fits all B18, B20, and B30 engines.

Alloy Cover Chome Hardware Kit

Sometimes an engine dress up is just what you need to win best of show. Our valve cover dress up kit uses chrome allen head cap screws with chrome washers. This style of bolt means you don’t have to use a socket that will rub against the painted or polished finish on the valve cover. We’ve even included the correct allen wrench so you’ll always have the right tool. Not for use on stock steel valve covers.
