SEAT FRAMES WITH HEADRESTS 122, 220, or 123gt (maybe) I was very close to finishing a rebuild restoration of a set of black seats with headrests. I HAD the foam (sold it on eBay) and everything ready but the vinyl. Then I find some guy with a nice red 68 car that he was junking.... I bought the seats that were in great shape. That put a halt to the seat project I started. Here is what I have for sale, and I will add some photos for this in a week or so. Frames- the lower frames do not have rails. They were bead blasted and powder coated in gloss black- looking just like the original factory, but now more durable- you will see in the photos that they are beautiful. I have the elastic clips for the strapping, but of course no (good) straps (originals worn out). I believe I have the short pieces of original black vinyl for the lower portion of the frame, but I was planning to replace that too- let's not count on those. The upper frames- These were originally raw metal (factory) but I blasted the surface rust off. I then painted the uppers with spray (black) epoxy (they get covered). There is also that piece of decorative hardware at the shaft hinge (both sides-4), the boomerang shape, that always gets a beating from seat belts. It was bead blasted and powder coated (again, gloss black, like the factory), so they will be tougher than stock finish, but look like stock. Head rests, with the tube inserts, are black vinyl and in VERY good shape, but not 100%. I think I would give them a 99 or a 98%, but nothing at all to be ashamed of. They are not brand new, like the rest of the seats were going to be, had I finished. Still, it would be hard to notice something wrong, if there is. Everything should be there to put it all together. $250 and the buyer pays for shipping. Ideally, you are close to the east coast- for acquisition.
