Fuel System

Most Volvos are pretty easy to figure out what fuel system is on them because there were not many options based on model year.

There are a few model and year combinations that are a bit tricky to figure out.

1989-1993 240 models had two different fuel system options and the parts are quite different between them.  We have a tech tip on how to figure which one is on your 240 right here.

Some 1994-1995 850 models had Bosch LH 3.2 and some had Bosch Motronic 4.3.  These systems use different parts.

Some 1988-1993 740/940 non-turbo models had Bendix Regina Engine Management instead of the usual Bosch LH 2.4. These are completely different systems using different parts.  See this article for help determining whether you have LH or Regina.
