Volvo XC90 » Oil Filter Cap Wrench
 1999 and newer Volvos use a paper cartridge insert and a reusable plastic housing. The idea is that when it's time to replace the filter, only the paper element needs to be recycled as the housing is now reusable. Use cap wrench on this style filter. Please check fitment listed below to ensure products will fit your specific vehicle.

I wanted to put a 0 in the rating box,but it would not take it. Don't waste your money
on this one. It will cost you more for the shipping to send it back than you payed for the
wrench. I can not beleave that any Volvo Specialist would sell this wrench. Buy the heavy duty wrench Part# T1275OS. It works great. -Kevin F.L.
ipd customer service response: It would help if you explained what you don't like about the product. We sell a lot of these wrenches. They work very well for the home mechanic. They will wear out if used daily. We sell the heavy duty version for professional technicians. Also, people tend to over tighten the black plastic oil filter canister so they because very difficult to remove.

get what you pay for. this socket didnt grip the housing tight enough to break it loose. it may be on too tight, however i was unable to finish the job due to this tool.
ipd customer service response: These oil filter canister housings are only supposed to be tightened to 25 Nm. (in other words, not real tight.) They are plastic and are easily damaged by over tightening. We are seeing Quick Lube shops consistently overtighten them. IN many cases, this actually strips the plastic threads on the housing.
